Froth flotation is a separation method widely used in mineral recovery (Wills and Finch, 2015). In this process, finely dispersed air bubbles are introduced into a liquid and particle suspension. As the bubbles rise, they pick up the hydrophobic particles and carry them to the liquid surface where the loaded bubbles form a froth layer.
